Exclamation Sleeping around Europe

Hello Everybody, how's it goin'?

I am looking for information regarding sleeping places around Europe, not hostels though but private houses. I remember hearing about a community/society/organisation that members contact with each other and offer a place to sleep for a night for friends. I don't remember the name, that's why I am posting the thread. Anyone familiar with the subject? I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks a lot nad regards from Poland.

http://www.couchsurfing.com/ and http://globalfreeloaders.com/

And if you happen to speak Esperanto (or feel like learning it before your trip) there are a couple of thousand esperanto speakers around the world who host each other.
