Planning my route
Around the end of October myself and two friends will be doing a two week Europe trip and I could use a little help planning my route. Due to what I have planned we currently aren't staying too long in any one place, Ive heard this can be stressful but since I do plan on coming back and maybe doing one country at a time later on... I think a whirlwind trip would be pretty okay.
We arrive in Paris before noon on day one so we'll have time to see some of the sights before hoping on an overnight train to Spain (most likely Barcelona) where we'll spend the day before hoping back on another overnight train (I'd rather not do two nights in a row on the train but most of our destinations are too close together to do overnight and Id like to save as much money this way as possible) to Switzerland... I didnt really want to spend a night here but since its Friday night and I want to experience a bit of Europes party scene we'll probably stay here before taking a train in the morning to just outside naples... where we'll stay for 2 whole days! We'll spend the first relaxing on the beach and after the second night we'll head to rome where we'll spend another day. We'll also hit Venis, Piza and Florence while in Italy, probably spending a night in one... then 3 days/2nights in germany since one of my friends has family there... Then Amsterdam. We'll head through Belgium on the way back to Paris but probably wont stay long. This is all very up in the air, but Id love love love to hear some suggestions as Im kind of flying by the seat of my pants here.
