Question Foreign exchange in the UK (from Argentina)

HI everyone!

I am travelling to the Uk on September and I wanted to ask you about currency exchange there. I am Argentinean ,and sadly for us, and thanks to devaluation, 1 pound equals almost 7 pesos . I've saved mostly in USD, a few pounds and euros. What should I do with those dollars? Change them in Argentina or London? Buy traveller's checks? Or should I use my international credit card instead? What about using a little bit of everything?

Where should I go to change my currency? Where is the best (and cheapest) alternative? Bureau de change, travel agents or the Post Office?

Many thanks! This is my first big trip and I want to make the best of it!

Cheers,

Leti
