Well this is sort of strange, I cant get to read any of the other posts here. Maybe I could have got my answer and there was hardly any need to ask this separately. Was looking for an ideal place where I can take my family for a vacation in Europe, but then I cant get access to any of the posts as I said. Last time I had a torrid time while on a vacation just because I did not take adequate information about the place where I went and do not want the same mistake to be repeated again. So please help my cause if possible.

Where did you go last time? What didn't you like about it? How old are your kids? Are you looking for a completely organized tour/resort type vacation or are you looking to plan stuff yourself? What are you and your family interested in? How long are you planning to go for? What time of year? What's your budget?
