Just stayed the night at Xbase backpackers right in the centre of christchurch... I was very impressed with the place, very very clean, great communal areas and staff. And very friendly atmosphere.. definately reccomend it, And airport bus arrives and leaves virtually right outside
base certainly has a central location. I seems that it has improved since Accor started running the hostel late last year. I last visited it when it was still called the Star-Times.
