There's definitely many options in Queenstown, but many are not rated / reviewed in the BUGS forum. I thought I may be able to get some information here.

I'm looking for a standard double room, and am
considering between Pinewood Lodge, Alpine Lodge and Aspen Lodge. Which is newer and better in facilities? Southern Laughter was my original pick, but it's already filled.

I'll appreciate an early response cos I'll need to settle my booking ASAP. I'll be flying next Wed. (2 Feb 05).

Not sure if it helps but my daughter shared a dorm at the univercity hawaiie hostel. Even so when u land just go to Kuhio street( which my brother and i did) . Scads of hotels there that are reasonable.Rooms are plentiful once you land. Also taxi versus bus to downtown>? bus cheaper by far. Just outside airport.

OOOOPS GOT U CONFUSED WITH hAWAIIE POST. Any way rooms not a problem for u. Once you arrive u will find many notices advertising rooms/dorms etc. at airport.U pick. Also arrange your pick up while at it or directions.
