Hi,
Thai Airways offers a really cheap way to fly to Thailand if you are a spouse of a Thai national. They have these fares called "sawasdee fares" (could be called different things in different countries) and they are designed for Thai citizens living abroad to come home really cheaply- between 40-60% regular discounted fares- but the best thing is, family members of the Thai national can also travel together on the same low fare.
Cheap flights to Thailand is where I read about this and they have other suggestions on flying cheaply too. Apparently other asian countries have similar offers for their citizens too.
