Question

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with under-the-table seasonal work in NZ. Heading there next month with no visa or work permit, unless there are permits available in New Zealand upon arrival? We have experience with fruit picking and vineyard work and are hoping it will be relatively easy to find under the table work there, as it is here in BC during the summer months. ANY help, info, experiences GREATLY appreciated! cheers!

Work permits are not available on arrival but you should be able to get one in Canada if you're aged between 18 and 30.

Only a set number of work permits are issued each year. Contact your closest NZ consulate and ask if there are any Working Holiday Permits still available for this year.

Thanks for the reply. THere are no working holiday visas left for Canadians this year, this is our dilema. There are some available in January but by the time it would all be sorted out... we'd really like to work in December. If anyone knows of any other way, please post and info. THanks!
