Hey Rachel,
They may not have sta travel in ireland, but if you try
Cheap Student Travel, Flights, Hotels, Hostels, Insurance, Bus and Rail, Discount Worldwide Travel | STA TRAVEL | STA Travel Home , u can look up the various routes and prices etc. Originally, I wanted to do the 7 stops RTW ticket, but when I looked into it, it worked out too expensive for me as I couldn't really work on my way round as I wouldn't have visa's in any of the countries, so I decided to do the Working Visa in Oz, so then I can work a bit, travel a bit and try and get round the whole place doing it that way.
As I mentionned i'll be stopping on the way over in malaysia, and the guy in sta travel said it would be worth my while to check out thailand on the way back round as the flights from there are cheaper than from oz (thank god i didn't book a return flight).
There is also a number for Sta Travel - 0871 2 300 040 , and have just seen there is one in belfast, if thats any use. One thing i would say is once you've called and had a good idea to which way u wanna go, have a think for a day or so, as it can be expensive to change the tickets once they're booked and i was just lucky about the return flight thing as i only found out this was a good way of doing it after when i thought i'd messed up not getting an open return ticket, but it worked out good anyways.
I haven't travelled alone before and am a little bit apprehensive, but more excited than anything so I think it'll be grrrrreat!!
I'm on Facebook if u wanna chat
Romy
