Hi peeps!
I'm Chris (21) a 3rd yr student at bristol Uni at the moment and am looking for anyone to travel with to New Zealand in September 2005. Thinking of getting a coach pass and camping/hosteling around, hiking and having one or two beers now and then!

New Zealand quite small so you might consider a have a bike to travel around on. Roads are well maintained. Just hilly country though.Hostels are great places for most part. Just make sure you have your belly pack for important docs.Really a beautiful country. Examine ways to live their if i were you.

hi mate, i wasnt far away, went to uni in cheltenham but spent a fair amoutn of time in bristol! i am living here now (christchurch) but if you want any tips aorund this part just let me know (best bars, activitie etc). as for your trip sounds like you have got plenty of time and sure it will be superb, i always recommend flying kiwi for a long trip[, especially if you are okj to go camping, also the other post mentioned bikes and they have them on board,. one thing though if you are thining of camping septermeber may be a bit early, id try and hold out till oct or nov to get some really decent wether hope it helps give me a shout if i can help more
