This was one of the best hostels we stayed in! Its called the 'PLANTATION'. this is quite a new place and when we got there, we were almost the only people staying there! we had an 8 bed dorm to ourselves for 2 weeks!!! The bathroom's are immaculate, the tv lounge is small but well decorated and the kitchen is small but very clean. The majority of people here, who own and manage it are Irish and they are the nicest people ever. We experienced the BEST BBQ here. They serve meals downstairs in the bar/restuarant for only $5!!!! We lived like kings here, the food is amazing. There is also pool tables downstairs, juke boxes, live bands and a lively atmosphere. However its peaceful upstairs!!!
You'll miss out if you dont stay here!!! The supermarket is round the corner and the bus stop 2mins walk! There isnt much of a beach, but you can get there by bus which isnt expensive and only a short trip. The clog barn is a laugh and we saw 3 snakes in the model village! they were harmless though! The big banana is not that great but its quite fun if your a kid at heart!!! [img]smile.gif[/img]
