Cheapest hostel in Sydney is actually not that YHA near Central station. The building may look grand, but that goes in par with the rate.
May be better off to one on Castlereagh st.
That's very central, between Market st. and Town Hall.
The YHA in Sydney is one of the most expensive hostels in Sydney!!! The only hostels more expensive are the Steyne hostel in Manly and the Bondi Beachhouse.
