64 Foveaux Street, surrey hill.... this hostel is indeed one of the cheapest in town. Located above a pub (not really a lot of noise) but the kitchen is always a complete mess in the morning! All day long actually. And it smells a bit. But a good location if you are working all day long and just need somewhere to sleep.

64 Foveaux Street, that would be Cityside - the Excelsior. It's a great pub but the hostel is nothing special.

I prefer either the Blue Parrot in Kings Cross or the Wood Duck Inn in East Sydney.
