Default hi,

There really are a huge amount of places that welcome backpackers with open arms, as many appreciate that Australia is a haven for cheap and cheerful accommodation. You can expect to pay around a tiny $20 a night to stay in a nice, clean, simple environment. This will sometimes include a breakfast but it very much depends on the place you are staying at. Expect to be offered large rooms that may have other people in, as often these accommodations work with dormitories.
