Hi,
im looking to find a decent hostel around bondi beach, darling harbour, surrey hills ect over xmas time.

would appreciate any opinions on where is good and where to stay clear of!

There is a cluster of big, but very good hostels near Central Station including Sydney Central YHA, Railway Square YHA, BIG and Wake Up!). It's not the nicest location but it is convenient and only around a 10-minute walk to Darling Harbour.

I normally stay at BIG when I'm in Sydney but sometimes I stay at Wake Up or one of the YHAs.
