Question

Hi everyone, loving it here in Australia. Stuck in Brisbane at the moment looking for work and finding it harder than i thought. Most of the jobs advertised in local papers are for permenant residents only! Any one got any idea where i can find work? Starting to run out of money, about 2 months funds left, eeek!
Any help gratefull, websites anything!

If you don't mind picking fruit you could head up to Cardwell, Ayr, Bowen, Innisfail or Tully and pick bananas. I was up that way about three weeks ago and was told there was plenty of work.

It's probably best to call one of the better hostels (Cardwell Backpackers, Codge Lodge - Innisfail, Banana Barracks - Tully, Bowen Backpackers) in advance to check on the work situation.

Just please for god's sake don't try and find work at danny's backpackers in ayr, if you want to know why read the reviews in the hostels section!
