Het Jon...

I got mine exactly the same way, so perhaps you could help us out. Being a complete and utter tw*t I accidentally deleted my confirmation e-mail. Is there anything in that e-mail (reference code or the like) that is absolutely essential? Or is it enough that I turn up with my passport (the number of which I'm assuming is on their files?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Guy

Guy,

I don't think it will matter since they should have your passport details on file.

However it would be a good idea to contact the Dept of Immigration and check this with them.

Cool

Well before you can book a ticket you need your visa. Either tourist visa or if you want to work out there a WHV (working holiday Visa) which is if i understand correctly valid for 12 months from day of entry to Oz (but you can only stay in a job for a max. of 3 months then must move on). To get one you need £2000 in the bank and proof of this.

Once you get it book your flight & go!

As the legend that is Peter Kay says "Booked it, Packed it, f***ed off"!

p.s. if you delete any confirmation email for someting you have bought online 99.9% of companies provide a customer contact phone number on their site. Give them a call!

Sorry to tag onto the end of this thread with a question! But...I was wondering - if you apply online how can they accept you? What I mean is..they need proof of funds so how can they chack this out if they just automatically accept you?

Also, my hubby will be approx 30years and 6months when he applies for his WHV, I read that he can apply until he is 30yrs 11mths...anyone applied this late in the game?

Many Thanks in advance!
