Will the immigration department definatley ask to see if I have 5000 Dollars in the bank when I get to OZ with my working visa in October????? Or do they do "random checks"??? I will have about 2000 and my flight tickets???

Hiya. By sending in the form, you commit that you have the funds. I was not checked. Depending on how long you plan to be here, 4%000 is not that much money. All that the government wants to make sure is that you can contribute to the economy, and not be a drain on resources.
