How easy is it to get a short term job working in a bar in Australia?

if you have a work permit, you can get work anywhere! we think it is easy to get short term work, especially waitering in cafes etc.
Waiters and bus people earn reasonable money - about 10 -15 $ per hour plus some tips (though not tips like the US). It's enough to keep you in cash while you travel!

Work is easy to find in Australia as long as you have a work permit, although I wouldn't limit myself to bar work.

Just ask around in pubs and bars and soon enough you'll have a job. You should be able to find a job in a day or two. Alternatively, you can register with employment agencies which can fix you up with temporary office or catering work.
