I've read on several sites now that with a WHM visa you can work/stay in OZ for say 6 months then leave and go to say NZ for 9 months or whatever and then go back to OZ and continue with the remainding 6 months of the WHM visa.

I've asked them and they say it's true, but can anyone else confirm or refutre this??

That not true as far as i know were flying into Oz today (In singapore at the moment) my visa states it lasts 12 months from the 1st day of entry into australia and i remember the application form stating the same.
