Was looking to head out to Oz/Nz on a working holiday. Was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to get a WHV in both countries for the same 12 month period and work a few months in each country?

Also, I am a new traveller looking to head out early next year. Anyone have any opinions wether the working holiday is a good way to start, or should I go tour Europe first or something?

Not sure if u can get a WHV for OZ and NZ at the for the same period. But i do know that you have to get a NZ WHV from the UK.

I have just got my WHV for NZ and am going there for a year, then I will get my OZ WHV from Newzealand, works out betta that way too, means I can spend nearly 2 years out and about!

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure I will be able to get a NZ whv in Canada, at least thats what my agent said, never thought about applying for it while im out there (in oz). Can any problems arise from that?

I'm not sure about getting your New Zealand Working Holiday Visa in Australia, I will look into this. However there is no problem getting your Australian WHM visa in New Zealand.

Sometimes it may take a little longer to apply outside your own country, but this shouldn't matter if you're working in NZ anyway.

Also why would you want to work for only a few months in each country? Wouldn't it be better to spend the maximum time that your visa allows?
