hey
im a 21 year old Irish female and am planning to spend 6 to 8 months next year in Australia.We want to spend a few months working in Sydney but are not sure where would be the best area for us to start looking for an apartment and work.We would like to live somewhere there will be other people our age but we need something affordable aswell.Any advice would be great to get us started!

I would suggest looking for weekly accommodation rather than the nightly or backpacker accommodation... that way you get a cheaper rate and while you are working you dont get disturbed with noisey people who are just there to party... it can be frustrating!
