Hi There.

I have decided after much debate to go on a back packer trip to the above places and maybe more????

I hope to go on my trip hopefully at the end of 2005, around september time!! I am still debating the actual date. Anyway the only thing im lacking are people to go with, to make it more interesting. Thailand trip make sure u have medical coverage as food water has nasty surprises. Australia is wonderful to travel around. Get backpacker rail pass $450 and 6 months rail travel in any direction your choice. Book the train trip by phone. Pass only for out of country hostel members. Can be bought at rail station on arrival. What a great deal. I travelled 14.000km on that pass in 4 months.

Like u i was concerned about travel companions. BUT having done Oz twice the need for companions is minimal since hostels have many like minded people u can converse and/or travel with. No need to commit to anyone. Hostel membership is a great way to hook up
