Hi

It depends on your budget, and where you are flying in to - I have been to almost all corners of Australia, and the bits in between, happy to suggest with a bit more info.

April to June, you'll miss the hot weather (it will be around 22 - 25 in Melbourne\Sydney\Adelaide, hotter up north). But it won't quite be snow season either.

Let me know your rough plans and I'll help out.

Hey,

The only thing you'll need to keep in mind is to bring a lot of sunscreen as it will be VERY hot!

As to where to go:
Airlie Beach near the whitsundays in Queensland is the perfect Summer party spot, especially for New Years! Lots of backpackers and a relaxed atmosphere.

It's also a great base from which to explore the Whitsunday islands, go snorkelling and scuba diving and checking out the awesome reefs.

If you get to Victoria, don't miss the Barossa Valley. This is where many of Australia's fab wines are produced and the scenery is very picturesque.

But there's soooo much to see so it really depends on what your interested in!
Email me if you need any more help!
