hey people,

im in the process of kinda planning me trip round oz. im flying to melbourne. i have got one of them working holiday visas and will be in australia for a year.

travelling alone but intend to meet up with some ppl, either en route or out there.

no definate plans just intend to see as much as possible.

Been there done that. Get great southern rail pass for $450 when u arrive. Gives u travel to all the major cities for 6 months no restrictions other than pre booking trip over the phone. Always re affirm your reservation a couple of days later to make sure no cock ups.Join a hostel club as card gets u many discounts.Consider a layover in NZ on your trip. A must visit country since u coming out that way. Hostels $16 to $24 nz a night.Share dorm. Myself never had any negative situations just a great 4 months back paking trip.
