Just a note I am ozzie who has driven across the Nullabor recently. It definite a trip worthy to do and if you have time take your time to cross the Nullabor.

There are scenic flights (May to Sep) at the Nullabor roadhouse which is reasonable priced for scenic flights. Fowler bay is a 60km and a worthy detour.

Try and fill up at petrol at ceduna, mundrabilla and norseman but remember petrol stations/ road houses are approximate 200km apart.

Border village has the best food of the lot and some backpackers accommodation of $25 for a twin room

I f driving Oz imperative tou have spare 5 gallon petrol container and water for minimum 3 days. If in outback and you run into troble they can be life saver. Also important to have spare keys made up for each member.
