www.insureandgo.co.uk is quite a good one - have used them before for other journeys and they're pretty good

World Nomads are the cheapest of all the travel insurance companies and their online booking system makes it very easy to extend or change or policy. I used them on my last trip to the UK.

The main limitations (why they can do it so cheaply) are that the limit on property is low which is a problem if you have a $2000 camera or notebook computer and they don't cover rental car excess (although I haven't found any other UK-based insurer that cover this even though it is common in other countries).

If you're not renting a car and don't have any really expensive electronics gear with you then World Nomads is probably your best choice.

Angry Please Help!

Hi folks, I wonder if anyone can help me, I am going away with my mother in October to Brisbane to visit family for about a month to, and we decided to shop around for Travel Insurance as we paid enough already, the trouble is finding Insurance for my mother who is 76, we have already paid quite a bit for this trip, as i said so we would like this ideally to be as cheap as possible.

I have noticed a lot only go up to the age of 75 but not 76 plus even, so does anyone please please know of any cheap travel insurance for the age of 76+?

Samantha
