Hi all,

This is something I am sure you have all talked about until you are blue in the face, and if you're anything like me, your FINANCES are stressing you out!!?

I go to OZ in 16 days and I am still unsure that I have enough money to keep me going!! I am SO scared of coming back to a huge debt!! No matter which way I try to look at the situation, I just don't know how it's going to go!! I know it's tough talking to other travellers about it, because we all want different things from our travelling experiance, but it would be reassuring to know I am not the only one that is pulling my hair out about money!!?

If only I could win the Lotto ....

hi lisa , you didnt say how long you are coming to oz for or how much you have, and whether you intend on working, etc etc .cant really help until i know these things

well, I dont really now how long I am planning on coming for - it really depends how my money holds out while I am over there. I do have a working visa granted so the possibility of working is definatly there. I shall be going away with (approx) 6000 AUS$ and the girl I am travelling with is leaving in August so it may be that I go back with her or she leaves me behind!!!

im due to fly out for a years working experience on the 16th of august, my finances aren't the best at the moment either. $6000 aus should be enough to last you half the year but you've got the option to work which is an advantage plus you get the chance to interacte with people of all walks of life.
