Smile Travel western australia!

Hi i need some info on the cheapest way to get around western australia. Ive looked at greyhound and other bus companies but they dont seem to go as far south as i would like, to places like Esperance for example. Any suggestions??? Cheap car or camper hire? Cheap bus companies or flights? Help!

Greyhound are great for the long trips north and east from Perth, but for the southwest Transwa (website www.transwa.wa.gov.au) are your best bet.

Flights within WA are expensive.

If there are a few of you who can split costs it is probably best to rent a car. Bayswater Car Rental are usually the cheapest but you should watch out for hidden extras that can really add to the cost of the rental.

Hey.
I'm going over to the West in August and planning on doing Easy Rider Tours. They go to the south as well, but now sure where to. They are a tour, so not like Greyhound, but you can hop on/off everywhere on the way and can take up to 6 months to do it.
Hope that's of some help.
