It really doesn't matter too much about your camera - just get the camera you like best. Personally I love the Canon IXUS range, although the Pentax Optio are great too. However not all Internet cafés will let you download pictures.
A lot of camera shops and big discount stores like Big W and KMart have machines that will read your memory card and either print the photos or transfer them to a CD. These machines will read virtually every type of memory card, although I still prefer to have a camera with a Compact Flash or SD memory card, which are the most common (and the cheapest).
