Cool SF to NY this summer

I'm moving to New York to go to grad school in September. My lease in Berkeley, CA expires late April. That means that I'm free for four months. I want to drive from San Francisco to New York and take about a month or two to do it. I drive a new Jetta, which has ample space four four lightly packed travelers. Ideally I'd like English-speaking non-North Americans. But I'm flexible. Basically, anywhere in the USA that you want to see can be part of the trip. Trains suck in America, and a car is the freest and most honest way to travel. This is Kerouac's way of traveling and I intend for it to be quite a trip.

About me: I'll be a 23 year-old Californian guy. I've lived in England, France, Italy, and Spain. I speak passable French and a little Italian and Spanish. I like rock n' roll, beer, and backpacking. I'm an experienced backpacker and always up to party if other people want to.

About you: you should be under 30, over 21, able to speak English, laid back, European or Oceanic. Ideally I'd like to get three different independent travelers in the car.

You'd need to arrange for airfare to San Francisco (or nearby). Like I said, the trip ends in New York City, so if you have a round trip ticket, then you might need to get a one-way back to San Francisco.
