Hi all,

I am a Philippines citizen and currently in working in Canada (with working visa valid for 6 months - single entry).

Wow, you really don't know how much this has helped me. I was looking at maybe trying to get a working visa in Canada and then travelling to the US as it seems to be easier. Thanks.

Thumbs up my sister just got approved today

hi u might be in canada already today..just wanna let u know that my 2 sister got approved for tourist visa today my elder sister is already Canadian Land immigrant while my other sister is temporary working visa which she came in canada Sept of 07,before ther interview today most of ther friends said that dont tell that u have family in usa to visit coz us immigration might think that u dont have plan to come back to canada once to get the visa to us but my sister which is the one that has working visa decided to tell the truth..they ask her status in canada?(temporary working visa),why she wants to go to us?(to visit me here in IL),are you married?(yes),what is your plan for your hiusband and kids?(hopefully to bring them in canada by 2010 etc...,and thats it the consul ask her passport no other documents was ask coz she really convinced the consul that she dont have to stay longer illegally in canada to destroy all her dream to bring her family in canada in the future.Telling the truth that you have family or relatives in us will help you to get the visa and if the consul feel that your intend is just to visit us why not to have the visa, just be confident on what you asnwer to the consul and convince the consul as well.Anyways my sister which is Land immigrant or Permanent Resident in Canada dont have any problem coz once u are PR u are 100% approved for us 10 years visa.hope this help take care
