Just ride on the LRT (www.lrta.gov.ph), it's never more than 15 pesos per ride.

You can book yourself in one of the many tourist guide that the plane company will offer you. I know they have lots of that.

The person you're visiting in manila, maybe they can help you or tour you perhaps.
