has anybody here ever tried to travel overland to israel?



i'm looking at the route, through turkey, syria and jordan, but worried about going through syria, where having an israeli passport is apparently an offence for which you can be deported, or hanged as a spy...

i would travel on my british passport not my israeli on, but have to use my israeli one for the last leg of the journey...
