retreat in india
writer looking for a peaceful and beautiful place in goa or west karnataka.
"peaceful" means no traffic noise, being able to hear birds sing and leaves rustle in the wind. as few humans as possible.
"beautiful" means no pollution, no garbage lying around, movement of water (river or sea), lush vegetation and healthy vibrant wildlife.
i know this is a lot to ask in this extremely polluted and over-populated country, but...any suggestions?
