Hello, my name is Chris 22 male from England. I am planning to go backpacking around Asia next year. I was hoping some people could tell me roughly how much money i will need (excluding flights etc just money needed to spend while I'm out there) to help you here is a rough plan I may follow:


India 8 week(s)
Thailand 8 week(s)
Cambodia 4 week(s)
Vietnam 4 week(s)
Laos 4 week(s)
Malaysia 4 week(s)
Indonesia 4 week(s)
Brunei 3 week(s)
China 8 week(s)


I'm not too fussed on where I stay (the cheaper the better), will happily eat from the cheapest food stalls. Will be travveling around a fair amount. I'm travelling alone so will want to go out quite often drinking so I can meet plenty of people. But I dont want to go out and get bladdered every night either.
