Hey, I have a quick question.

Everywhere I read says that people from the Commonwealth (in my case, Canada) can get work visas for the UK if they are between 17 and 27.

Does that mean you can be 27, or you have to be UNDER 27? Can anyone clarify?

The working holidaymaker scheme is an arrangement where a Commonwealth citizen aged between 17 and 30 (at the time of application) can come to the United Kingdom (UK) for an extended holiday for up to two years.

They bumped the age up to 30 a little over a year ago.

They've changed the rules in the UK so that you can get a 2-year Working Holiday visa if you are 30 or under. They've also removed all restrictions so you can work in any job field and, once that visa has expired, you can also now apply for a different visa without leaving the country.

I'm doing the same in the new year.
