hello everybody
i am obsessed with the thought of spending this summer in spain so i would like to ask if anybody has any experience with workoing there. i think their job opportunities are not free for foreigners as e.g. in UK, are they? is there any chance to gain work permit? or to work illegal? somewhere in hotel, bar or on farm? thanks for any idea. olinka
If you are going just to spend the summer.. and specially during the summer... it is posible to find a job in a restaurant or a bar... it is very difficult to get the job permit.. I have heard about working there illegal.. it is posible.. If you speak English and Spanish... that will be a plus. Barcelona is full of tourists during the summer.. Go to bars in "Maremagnum", with your CV..
I would contact your local Spanish Embassy and ask them about work permits. If you have an EU passport you dont need one however there is stiff penalties if your caught so best of luck!
hey, i dont know if your still around spain but anyways, you could try www.wwoof.org. willing workers on organic farms... it doesnt pay (food and sleep) but its a really cool way to see spain .. or anywhere
