Default snow work in Italy

Hey all,
I'm heading for the Italian Dolomites for winter. I thought I might be able to find a job in the ski fields there. Maybe as a dishwasher, lift operater, luggage carrier, etc.
I'm an aussie but I can easily get a holiday working visa. Can anyone please give me some tips or hints. Who to see? Can I organise a job before I leave Australia? If not when should I start searching the slopes for a job? Around mid-November?
Any help will be awsome...

Hey Billy,

I too am looking at doing the exact same thing. So if you have found anything out can you let me know, and i'll do vice versa. I'm from Australia too.

Cheers Jon

You might find this website helpful http://www.anyworkanywhere.com
It currently lists at least 5 resorts in Italy who are looking for workers to start from December 2006 onwards.

Good luck!

Hint: I don't know for you, for for non-Eu citizens you have to go to questura and declare your visit (if the visit is longer than 11 days)

All best,
