Has any Canadian out there recently received their Working Holidaymaker?
Can you clarify the method of payment for the Visa fee? Is a money order alright? If I write a cheque for the equivalent of 85 GBP is that good enough?
I double checked with the enquiries office that my husband did not have to come with me as he doesn't qualify. Twice I was confirmed that it was alright since he was to old.
That is the exact reason I was given for my rejection. Because I'm married, I cannot travel without him...
How do I qualify as a working holidaymaker?
You must be able to show that you:
- are single, or that you are married to, or the civil partner of someone who also qualifies as a working holidaymaker and you plan to take the working holiday together
Why do you think I inquired at the Visa office in the first place?
Maybe because you didn't read the website. It says quite clearly that you don't qualify because of your husband. I don't know why you would phone them.
