Thumbs up Working holiday maker for house wife

I have read this statement for quite few times and have some doubt.

" How do I qualify as a working holidaymaker?
You must be able to show that you:
- are single, or that you are married to, or the civil partner of someone who also qualifies as a working holidaymaker and you plan to take the working holiday together"

My wife and myself want to apply for a WHM visa, we have enough funds to support our applicatios. My age is 27 and my wife's age is 24. I am working and my partner is house wife. I want to know whether a house wife will be qualified for a WHM Visa. If not can she apply for a dependant visa.

Thanks for your site and forums.
Regards.

If you're from an eligible country, have enough funds, and are within the age limits then your chosen career path is not a problem when applying. If you were married to someone who wasn't also applying for the same visa then that would prevent you from also getting one, but if you're both applying that's not a problem. Most of the people who apply are barely out of school and haven't had many jobs anyway, so honestly not that different from being a housewife.

At least that's how it was a few years ago when I went through the process. Things may be different now, or different depending on where you're from.

Being a resident of an eligible country and possessing great qualities would mean easy job-landing.
