Volunteers Needed in Africa


CICD and Humana People to People are looking for volunteers for different kinds of development work in Africa and India. Joining the Development Instructor programme will enable you to contribute in the fight against HIV/AIDS and poverty in the poorest countries of the world.

It can be a life changing experience – for yourself and the people in Africa you work with.

The different projects that we have include:

• Child-Aid
• Pre-School Programmes
• HIV/AIDS prevention
• Environment & Tree planting
• Social Work with street children
• Education/Teachers training college

The programme is usually 14 months long and it includes:

·6 months training in England, Denmark or Norway.
·6 months development work at a projects in Africa
·2 months evaluation and de-briefing period in South Africa or Denmark (also a possibility to visit other projects in Africa or India during this period).

No special qualifications needed, you only need to be 18+, hardworking, motivated and flexible.
