Default travel between eng & northern irl

i'm traveling to england, as a tibetan with an indian passport. is there any problem with flying to belfast and traveling down to dublin, in ireland, can i get stopped anywhere for not having an irish visa?
or, if i do need an irish visa to visit dublin, should i apply in india, or in england, can i have 2 visas valid at the same time on my passport?

any help greatly appreciated.

You won't need a visa to fly to Northern Ireland, since a visa for England will cover all of the UK.

If you need a visa to visit Ireland you could apply in either England or India. You can have two visas in your passport at the same time.

However I doubt that you would need it as there are open borders between the UK (Northern Ireland) and the Republic of Ireland and it is very unusual to have your passport checked. If you decide to do this it would be advisable to return to England in the same way you arrived (ie. via Northern Ireland).
