Default German/American Visa questions

Hello,
Im in the U.S. Army in iraq right now, but so I apologize a head of time for any delay in responses. Anyway, I have a german fiance and when I get out of the Army ( in the next year) we wanted to go to college in either germany or the states. Now she has her American visa ,but the problem is if we go to college in germany, we are under the impression that she will lose her american visa. If not how can we prevent this? If thats true though, can she get it back? or is their a renewal process? And Im not 100% sure , but as long as I get into a college or have a job in germany I can get a german visa correct? ok thats the first option. Now if we go to the states for college, will she loose her german citizenship? if so can she get it back? All this, please remember that we will be in the country for 4-8 years for school. thank you!

Oh also Im not sure if it makes any differents but she got her visa through her stepdad that is in the U.S. army, but when he leaves I believe her visa will expire if she doesnt live in the states for 6 months is this correct?

Talk to the US embassy in Germany - http://germany.usembassy.gov/germany/visa/index.html

Get the names of anyone you talk to and keep written records of it all. This is important stuff that you don't want to trust to discussion on a travel forum.
