I am looking for two additional adventurer/mates of any age or sex. The sloop is a comfortable design, but more suitable for people that are not large or heavy in weight. The boat is also a seaworthy craft with new sails and good up-keep. If you are interested please email me for photos and possible dialogue. My start date is firm, but I am open to suggestions. I’m looking for a travel companion for a Mexico and all over Central America backpacking trip, starting in Spring 2011.

I will quit my job shortly before the trip so I'm flexible with dates.

You'd be just as serious about this amazing trip, have plenty of time off, even though someone to do it partially is welcome.

You're educated, adventurous and price conscious, prefer overland, off the beaten track, hiking, beach, etc.

If you're in NYC, fantastic, so we can meet up. Otherwise, I'm on skype and FB, we'll manage.

Cheers, Vanessa]]>

So I don't have any set plan or anything, but I was thinking about heading over to Rio for the Carnival then working my way up to the USA to work and travel for a while. Maybe do a roadtrip or something. Then over to Aus and NZ and work there for a while. I would like to spend Christmas over there. From there over to Asia, and then Africa. I would love to do Europe too if the funds hold out. I am looking to do this on a budget so plan to stay in hostels, camping and use Couchsurfing. I am totally open to any places and experiences. Looking to combine volunteer work, paid work and travels.

Me - I am a 22 year old female and in my last year of Uni so I graduate in the Summer as a teacher. I am pretty easy going so get on with most people. I really want to just have a great time and make some memories. I am open to any opportunities, parties, trekking, extreme sports, etc. I want to do things that I wouldn't normally do everyday!

Anyway sorry about the huuuge essay I have just written! If anyones intereted get in touch and we can discuss it further.

I am moving to the east coast for law school this fall.

I need to get myself and my clothing across the country. And I have the whole summer to do it. I’m driving. On the way, I want to see the best of the USA and Canada. That means some hip cities, major parks, dive bars, and everything else worth seeing. I am also on a tight student budget.

I want two people (at least one guy) to go with me. You will share motel costs when hostels and camping are not an option. And you will share fuel costs. However, I will pay half of the fuel, so you will each only have to pay one quarter of the gas costs. My car gets good gas mileage. You will also share in the driving, so you need a driver’s license (but it does not have to be a US driver’s license). And, since I am 23 and I like to drink, it would be best if you were between the ages of 21 and 30. You can be any nationality so long as you are polite and courteous and you can speak at least a fair amount of English. And you must have a valid passport (or a copy of a US or Canadian birth certificate).

I am starting my trip in San Francisco, CA. But I will be driving up to Portland, OR, Olympia, WA, Seattle, WA, Vancouver, BC, and Victoria, BC in the first two weeks. So any of those cities would be a fine place for me to pick you up.

I am a 23 year-old Californian guy. I lived in Italy, France, and England for a total of two and a half years. I speak French ok, so I definitely want to explore some of Québec. I also want to check out Yellowstone, Toronto, the Denver-Chicago part of Route-66, and I want to drive down the Northeastern Coastline. The rest of my plans are fairly open to suggestion. I will leave sometime between May 15 and June 10.

About me: I'll be a 23 year-old Californian guy. I've lived in England, France, Italy, and Spain. I speak passable French and a little Italian and Spanish. I like rock n' roll, beer, and backpacking. I'm an experienced backpacker and always up to party if other people want to.

About you: you should be under 30, over 21, able to speak English, laid back, European or Oceanic. Ideally I'd like to get three different independent travelers in the car.

You'd need to arrange for airfare to San Francisco (or nearby). Like I said, the trip ends in New York City, so if you have a round trip ticket, then you might need to get a one-way back to San Francisco.
