We originally were staying at Koalas, we checked out first thing in the morning and came here. We love this place. We have a double and it is so nice. No bugs, totally clean. Little fridge and dish set. It is in the perfect area, totally central. You can party hard or just hang out in the room and still have it quiet. There isn't much for a kitchen but enough to make things work. The people that work here are nice and this place is huge so you can meet so many new people. We have been here for a week and have another week to go. That is how much we like it.

We stayed in one of the 8-bed dorm houses that is on the picture above. A lot better than Beachers Backpackers where we stayed before. Nice atmosphere. Good place to meet people. Everybody sits outside of their house, drinking, talking, eating, smoking, partying or just chilling... Close to everything and helpful staff.

This could quite possible be the worst place that I have ever stayed in my enitre life. I was bitten alive by bed bugs and nobody seemed to care when I told them. They basically just said bad luck. The service was crap, the place was filthy and not worth the money. I would much rather stay at Reefo's. Its a bit further out of town but its worth it.

This place is the worst place I have ever stayed, I was there two nights and got eaten alive by bed bugs. When I told the reception staff they basically said bad luck. Would not even set foot in the bar again.

Friendly Staff (especially the internet guys) very helpfull when it came to picking our boat trip. We both had a very enjoyable stay. Double accomm was best in town after a walk around town. Went to Beaches and the staff made us wait 20 minutes before being rude, so we just walked. Nightly games are fun to watch, be careful you dont get roped into them if your the shy type. Overall good value.

WHAT A BLAST!!!! FOAM PARTYS< WET T< PARTY GAMES!!!! Who needs sleep!!! awesome staff at reception had the best boat trip! (reality) Im a Brit and im not complaining mr previous!

I thought it was pretty good value. I guess if your soft you can stay out of town, but for hardcore party this is the place. These complaints would have to be from brits. Accomm was ok and staff very friendly.

The whole thing was mermoriable the girls in reception were so helpfull no matter what your request! All the free bee's get when you book a over night tour is fantastic, really cheap packages if you want to combine tirps. The dble/twins were really clean and newish, the cabins for $15 is a bargin, with ensuite. I would deffinaetly recomend Magnums to all and will be back on my way back down, could not fualt the whole show even the bar has great give a ways. Go girls I will see you soon !!!!

Stayed in a 10 bed dorm which happened to be the closest to the bar/nightclub, but the noise level was pretty low so sleeping was not a prob, dorm had air-con and fans plus ensuite batheroom, ok no real kitchen but then there 5 food outlets within spitting distance, not the best place i've stayed but alot better than some and what more do you want for $12 a night ($10 with TNT voucher). Most say staff on site could be better but like the review below there concerned with taking as much money as possible!

too big and inpersonal. i don't know why ppl love these big backpackers so much. impressive with having a club and resturants right around it, but the staff( except the internet staff) are unfriendly and more concerned about protecting profits rather than customer care. lacks any social facilities such as a common room, and chill out areas and there is not a great deal to do. my advice stay at reefo;s or even the souless yha building.
