After coming up from Brisbane Backpackers this place was heaven!! Loved my stay here. The staff are great! Very friendly and helpful. They do a great job running the place (as the whole time I was there I never saw a manager/owner). Stayed here for 4 weeks and found the place had a great atmosphere and it was easy to meet other people - which is great when travelling on your own.

Any drunk off the street can stay here, not a nice place. My friends told me about this place, but yukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Old and no fun, go there if you like, but don't blame me.

Throughout my full time in OZ I never stayed in a more friendly and relaxed hostel. Although the hostel itself isn't the best looking one in Brisbane the relaxed atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff (especially Wicks and Tristan)makes the place worth staying in. I would particularly recommend this hostel to people new to backpacking as it's a great place to meet people with plenty of nights out organized.

Stayed here for nearly 3 months in 2000, good location, great staff (Wicks especially!!!). Great atmosphere too. My room had a city view, balcony, ensuite bathroom, fridge and tv. Brilliant.

Really nice setting, quiet, relaxing and really friendly staff. Good place to get away from the hussle and bussle of the city.
