I found Noosa Backpackers to be the best and located close to everything. The shuttle bus service got me to all those other places more out of the way. The rooms were very spacious and clean with terrific kitchen facilities. Don't overlook the Global Cafe at the front for excellent value and quality food. I stayed out of town a bit initially and it was the pits. I spoke with many other travellers through Oz and this place was high on every ones best list. Don't miss Noosa it is a real hoot.

Nothing really wrong with this hostel, just a place to stay in Noosa really. Rooms were pretty small and the hostel is quite spread out in several buildings so you'd be lucky to even find some of the facilities like laundry, TV room etc!Stayed here a couple of nights and then moved to the Noosa North Shore Retreat, which was paradise in comparison, for the same price!!

I stayed here in 2001. I don't know if the situation is still the same but at that time they had old barracks and new buildings. I stayed in one of the new buildings and that was excellent. The owners are very friendly and facilities are good. They're located out of town but theres a shuttlebus. The owner also organises tours to Fraser Island etc. which I really enjoyed too.
