Cheers Backpackers is a clean and lively place to stay. The bar and bbq area is fantastic and provides a great place to socialise. The pool and spa area, surrounded by beautiful palm trees, provides such a relaxing atmosphere that there is no need to even leave the hostel! All staff are extremely friendly and obliging. After reading prior reviews I think some people need to take into consideration that Cheers is a backpackers hostel not a hotel or resort, and for a hostel it's damn fine!!!

The only good part of Cheers were the people that I met staying there. The beds are horrible. The might as well not have a mattess. The showers were gross and you feel like everyone can see in. The beanches are uncomfortable. Do not be fooled by their brouchure, it is not as nice as it says

I felt I didn't stay long enough just 3 days. There was alot happening with pub crawls & Shooters nights. I was in a 4 bedroom dorm with 3 others. All though sleeping on the top bunk there was problem with access from the bed to the floor. The Showers were good & so was the bar but in the Pool Comp. they did play Killer.
