Surfers Paradise Backpackers Resort is an absolutely wonderful hostel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hostel organizes a different event every night of the week for their guests to enjoy such as pub crawls, BBQs, etc. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with ensuite bathrooms. The central recreation area and bar are excellent for meeting and mingling with other backpackers. The beach is just a short 3 minute walk from the hostel and the pool is nice as well. If this hostel has a downfall, it is the fact that it is about a 20 minute walk to town. However, the hostel provides a free shuttle every hour, so it's really not too bad. This was my favorite hostel along the entire east coast!

A great place to stop, has a relaxed atmosphere, with plenty to do. You can book heaps of tours through the office. The rooms were clean and the onsuite bathrooms great. There is always something going on, a ball bouncing, a game of basket ball or volly. never a dull moment and only 2 mins from the beach. Had a great time and partied hard with all the staff
